2014 – Where it all began
Near Future launches after helping build an in-house production team at Square. We bring those lessons to a dining room table, early clients, and a bias toward clarity over cleverness. The table was temporary. The standards stuck.
-
2015 – Finding our footing
We move into our first office and the team begins to grow. The work ramps up with never-heard-of-them brands like eero and Robinhood. Big ideas, big-swings, and more Google Docs than anyone expected.
-
2016 – Growing up a little
The team expands and we move into a new space - to keep up with our growth. Higher ceilings, more rooms, louder opinions - and a ping pong table. We win our first award - nice validation, but mostly proof the work is landing.
-
2020 – Pressure test
Production changes overnight. So do we. We adapt fast, expand into design and animation, and learn that flexibility isn’t a buzzword - it’s a muscle.
-
2021 – Building the team
Near Future grows to 11 people across California, Tennessee, and Michigan. Different places, shared instincts. We refine how creative and production actually work together.
-
2025 – Building what’s next
We expand into performance marketing and brand and creative strategy, and begin layering in emerging AI tools; adding leverage without adding noise. Clearer thinking, faster execution, and creative that holds up when deadlines get personal.

Coming soon... the near future
(We had to.)
What we believe
The humans behind the work.
We’re a tight, high-functioning group that’s spent years building the kind of chemistry you can feel on set and on calls. The work is always better because of it.
